Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Lakeland Auto Service inc. at (863) 687-9800; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. My car’s suspension was messed up, and I was recommended to Lakeland Auto Service. Arturo and his team fixed it back to like-new condition the same day! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs car repairs. They’re honest, trustworthy, and truly helped me out tremendously. As a young woman, I’ve had experiences in the past where other shops tried to take advantage of me because I don’t know much about cars — but not here. If you send your daughter or son to Lakeland Auto Service, they’ll be in great hands! Thank you, Lakeland Auto Service! If I ever have car issues again, this is the only place I’ll go.

Me and my husband been coming to this shop for 2 years and A.T. and his crew take good care of any car we've brought to them! I just drove from Orlando when I got my car because it's used and I needed someone to look at it and fix it correctly not get rich off the car breaking down one thing at a time. I took it left it told them to take their time and by the end of the week it was running like it's brand new! No matter how far only these guys can touch our cars!

Don't waste your time and money with Arturo and Lakeland Auto. Arturo was supposed to resolve misfiring issues with my C320 Mercedes. Charged me $1500 for spark plugs and valve covers. My Benz still misfires... A waste of time and money.

I wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle here. My mother broke down in Lakeland had to put her car there, I told them please replace the fuel pump that's what's wrong with it. They call me back good news it's not the fuel pump it was just the wiring harness. But that's $500 I get home to Palm Harbor my car breaks down within 10 hours. Now they won't return my phone calls won't return my text. Took my mom's $480 and ran. Every time I call there they give me the runaround about we can come pick your car up and tow it back here but you have to pay for the tow. And all I was asking for was them to pay the difference to my mechanic that I have it at in Palm Harbor it's sitting on a mechanic now getting fixed the right way and costing me $1,300 and they don't want to talk about my mom's 500 so be careful when dealing with these people. Because they didn't replace the wiring harness in the first place my mechanic showed me. And he's putting it in writing for my lawyer
